iPad Motion Analysis Software

I recently began incorporating the iPhone/iPad app Ubersense into my bike fitting practice. The app is extremely easy to use for recording, playback, and analysis of sports video. The app is useful for coaches and athletes alike.  Coaches can use it for recording, analysis, and immediate feedback, and atheletes can use it for training and self-evaluation.

iPad cameras are hi-def but only record at 30 fps. You will see motion blur at the bottom of the pedal stroke, but you can still use the angle tool to measure leg extension.  Other aspects of bike fit like hip and shoulder angle are even easier to measure since they are fairly static.

The app is currently free in the iTunes store and the developers have built a larger user community.  Feel free to check it out, and let me know if you have any questions on how to set it up and use it for bike fit evaluation.
